There has been many times in my past life career job that I took the emotions from work back home and could fret on this for many days. If I knew what I have learned now, as a boxing coach and a passionate boxer in the ring, I would have been much more resilient, productive and a happier person

Little Fact: Did you know that reconciliation after competition is more a masculine than a feminine trait?

What if we applied this approach in the workplace - as women we learned to “keep it in the boardroom”. See the boardroom as the boxing ring, the place to do battle and outside of that let go of any feelings and show mutual respect for your “opponents” (colleagues)

I’m not saying that ALL women are emotionally triggered, but we do have and show more empathy than men. Don’t forget that this is also very good trait in many ways in the business world. The ring in boxing is where the competition starts and ends. After the final bell, leave the ring, show mutual respect and understanding for each other.

BE A CHAMP. NO HARD FEELINGS.
